Human Resource Manager

International Company with North American operations in South Atlanta seeking a Human Resources Manager. This position will be a temp to perm position. The successful incumbent will receive a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and enjoy working with a small team of dedicated staff.? Reports to the CFO.

Duties:
  • Implements and enforces employment policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.? Develop and maintain employee handbook;
  • Responsible for payroll, 401K, healthcare programs, and worker?s compensation for 25+ person workforce
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment and benefit laws and taxes;
  • Be able to complete 1099-MISC; third-party sick pay W-2 & W-3?s;
  • Assist CFO with recruitment efforts.? Jointly recruit, interview, test and select employees to fill open positions.? Conducts wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate.?
  • Administers the Affirmative Action Plan and manages the annual EEO compliance reporting to the DOL, as well as ensuring compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting
  • Responsible for financial accounts, payables and general ledger for personnel specific accounts;
  • Responsible for weekly overtime calculations and working with remote field service engineer
  • Input in Oracle all payroll entries, benefits payments, etc.;
  • Assist accounting department during busy period with data entries, reconciliations or other task as assigned;
  • May assist in preparing statistical summaries and reports;

Minimum Requirements:
  • BA or BS in Business, Finance, Accounting or Human Resources
  • 5 years experience with Human Resources, personnel, and accounting
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification desired
  • Strong accounting knowledge and experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office package (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Proficient with accounting and payroll software; Oracle preferred
  • Ability to multi-task under a ?stressful, constant deadline environment without compromising efficiency and accuracy of work;
  • Highly self-motivated; detail-orientated; extremely organized; strong analytical ability
  • Available for potential after normal working hours or weekends for close outs
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with supervisors, international colleagues and peers alike;
  • Problem solver who is very a competent and thorough researcher
