Judging by the millions sold, consumers love the huge screens on Samsung's Galaxy lineup of smartphones. But it's not very convenient to strap a 5.5-inch Galaxy Note II to your arm when you hit the gym.
Samsung might have a solution with its newest device. The Galaxy Muse MP3 player can sync whatever music is on your smartphone to the 1.7-inch, clip-on gadget. The $49.99 Galaxy Muse holds up to 4GB of music, and will play for up to six hours.
At this point, the Galaxy Muse is compatible with the Galaxy Note and Note II, as well as the Galaxy S II and S III . Download the Muse Sync app from Google Play or Samsung Apps and connect the Muse to your Galaxy smartphone with the included connector cable.
"Users can sync the songs they want and leave their phone behind," Samsung said.
The Galaxy Muse includes a built-in clip so you can attach it to clothing. There are front volume controls, as well as skip, shuffle, pause, and go back buttons, and an LED status indicator. Opt for shuffle or continuous play. It weighs 13.8 grams (the Galaxy S III is 133 grams) and measures 1.7 x 1.25 x 0.5 inches.
The Galaxy Muse is available now at Samsung.com in pebble blue or marble white.
